Worship at Galilee on yesterday was phenomenal!!! One of those days that I will never forget as Pastor of this great congregation of believers. The Lord's presence was felt from beginning to end on yesterday. From our early morning time in prayer, to our small group study time, devotion, praise and worship, singing, the time of giving, the high moment of hearing from God through His word and the fellowship meal after service, all was breathed upon by the Spirit of God!!! It was simply incredible.
The church was packed from wall to wall and we were caught a little off guard by the crowd. But the men and women of Galilee moved swifty to do what was needed to accomodate our guests. I was simply amazed at how they all worked together to get the situation handled. Our praise team and choir sung as I have never heard them on yesterday. They sung "My Worship Is For Real" and it was an excellent offering of worship through song.
Pastor Mitchell preached from Hebrews 10:19-25 "A Better Worship" ...we were blessed and encouraged throgh the message.
After service we shared in our fellowship hall for lunch and I must say.....I was somewhat concerned that the 2 fish and 5 loaves we had prepared would not be enough and that we would not get everyone served quickly enough. The line was literally out of the door. But the Lord showed us His presence again.....the guests were served quickly and we had enough food leftover to donate to a mission group in our community!!!! Look at God!!! Look at God! A couple of friends from my home church came up after they had eaten and asked me what was our secret to getting the people served so quickly? I had no answer. But when I stepped in the fellowship hall to see for myself....it was obvious how this had happened.....we had a batallion of members serving our guests to help expedite them through the serving line.
Galilee is simply the best church in the world!!! I simply believe that God has given me the privilege and opportunity to serve a group of growing believers who truly understand that service is primary in the Kingdom of God. I pray that the Lord will continue to grow us together as He uses us to win lost people for Christ.
Thank God for 51 years. May the Lord grant us at least 51 more years to serve His purposes here in this world.
Galilee I love you!!! May God continue to knit our hearts together as Pastor and People!!

It brings my heart great joy to read how GOD manifests HIS presence for your strength, sustenance, and celebration.
What a mighty GOD we serve. May GOD continually grant grace for the journey and may the Galilee tribe increase so that the residence of Shawnee will be won to the Kingdom as they experience GODS love among the members of Galilee.
For GODS Glory alone,
Ronald
